One program or All Apps?
Working in a single discipline? The standalone program is enough: AutoCAD for drafting, Revit for BIM and construction, Inventor for mechanical design, Civil 3D for infrastructure, 3ds Max or Maya for visualisation and animation. Running three or more side by side, Autodesk All Apps is almost always cheaper than the separate subscriptions combined.
Delivered to your own Autodesk account
Autodesk licences are placed on your personal Autodesk account — not a shared login, but a licence in your name with access to updates and cloud services. After your order we assign the licence; this usually happens within a few hours on business days.
